Death to Music, 2011

Re-activating the band after a seven year hiatus, British Cult Black Metal trio Old Forest began the work on their infernal opus "Tales of the Sussex Weald", which has been three years in the making. Originally planned as a trilogy of 3 EPs, this has taken the final shape as a full length album.

The grand opus "Tales of the Sussex Weald" is a 13 track exploration of the myths and legends of the English countryside of Sussex. With a running time in excess of 64 minutes, we truly believe this to be an instant underground classic, and for us this is the greatest Black Metal album since Emperor's "In The Nightside Eclipse"!

All final production duties were undertaken by fellow noise-monger J. Fogarty (Ewigkeit, Jaldaboath, The Bombs of Enduring Freedom) who also makes a brief appearance on rhythm guitar on the live track "Dead at Beachy Head".
