"Baldr ok Íss" is the second full-length release by Helunar, whose name means "whispering runes to Hel" or "Hel's runes".
The album presents a musical interpretation of the story of the god Balder´s death, portraying Balder as a representation of light and wisdom with an epic Black Metal sound against the freezing emptiness of darkness or Íss "ice" with harsher aspects of Black metal.
